You retain full ownership of every file you vault. Nanivolt does not claim ownership of your documents, images, videos or any uploaded content.
When vaulting supported document types (PDF, DOCX, TXT), Nanivolt extracts text from your file in the browser, then transmits it securely over HTTPS to Nanivolt's server where it is encrypted using AES-256-GCM before being stored.

Nanivolt offers both Free and Premium plans. Free accounts receive a limited number of Vault and Verify credits. Premium subscriptions provide additional features and higher usage limits.
Unused credits may expire or reset according to your subscription plan. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
While we strive to provide continuous access to Nanivolt, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, software updates, internet outages, security incidents, or circumstances beyond our control may temporarily affect availability.
Nanivolt is provided on an "as available" basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nanivolt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or financial damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform.
Users remain responsible for maintaining backups of their files and ensuring that important documents are stored safely.
The Nanivolt name, branding, logos, software, interface, design, source code, graphics and related materials are the intellectual property of Nanivolt unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, redistribute or exploit any part of the platform without prior written permission.
Nanivolt reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or attempt to abuse the platform.

For the most accurate verification results, users must always preserve the original vaulted file.
Even very small changes—including metadata changes, compression, file conversions, or editing—may change the file's cryptographic fingerprint and cause verification to fail or indicate that the file has been altered.
Always verify the exact original file that was vaulted and always send that same original file to customers, clients, institutions, or other recipients.
Nanivolt may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated versions will be published on this page. Your continued use of Nanivolt after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
